My Current Piece of Mind
I have no real expectations for this blog; In fact I've never really entertained the idea of blogging before. It feels a little strange, awkward, and in an odd way, even a little liberating. I'm hardly so full of myself as to imagine there will be a lot people reading this blog. That's not why I'm doing it anyway. Albeit making some friends would be cool, this is largely so I can systematically (or NOT) put down thoughts, ideas, etc. and have a repository to keep it. Besides, I'm a much faster typist than a handwriter, and I'm constantly putzing with my machine, tweaking with drivers, settings, software, etc. so this seems like a great alternative to a back-up strategy.
It probably won't be a play by play of my life as it happens, but I plan to at least try and highlight things that I think are relevant. I do love introspection! Like countless others, I find it easy to become rather philosophical and analytical about life (e.g. my daily doings, what's going on around me, and what's important to me and those around me). Yeah. I guess it really boils down to, "What really matters the most in my life, and in the lives of my family, friends, and people I come in contact with." The longer I live, the more I realize how much I've still to learn.
